Pre-NCT Checks – Callan

Your NCT checks that your vehicle meets all the safety and environmental standards that are required for it to be on the road.

If your car is 4 years or older, it will need to pass this test every 2 years and once it’s over 10 years old, every year.

At Callan Autos, we offer a series of pre-NCT checks at our workshop, to make sure that your car is NCT-ready so that it passes first time; with up to 40% of cars failing the test, it makes sense to bring your car to our team so that we can do some basic checks and any repairs that might be needed to avoid failing and having to have a retest – saving you time and money.

Although the NCT shows that your car is roadworthy, you still need to have your car serviced regularly to reduce the risk of breakdowns and to maintain decent fuel economy, which is something that we also can do for you here at Callan Autos.
